Brothers Torey and Carl Maerz co-founded Rocket Referrals in 2013 by developing software that helps insurance agents make the most of their inherent advantages over direct writers. Before 2013 Torey was the CIO of a cloud computing company and Carl was an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
