October 19th of this year marked the 30th anniversary of HawkSoft’s first sale to a customer! As we celebrate this landmark achievement, it’s incredible to see how much HawkSoft has grown over the last three decades in the insurance industry. Starting out as a three-person family operation with a handful of customers, HawkSoft has become a leader in the agency management system industry serving thousands of independent agents and over 170 employees!
We want to take this opportunity to reflect on our rich history and share some highlights from our recent “30 days for 30 years” campaign on social media.

Core values that are more than just words
As we look back on our history, we know our core values have helped us to stay grounded over the years, even when times were turbulent. We’re grateful to still be privately owned, led by the incredible Hawkins family, and focused on the same core values that have always guided the company:

Many people are also familiar with HawkSoft’s motto, Deliver a Purple Cow Experience, which grew out of the value “deliver an exceptional experience.” Our “purple cow” factors – like our commitment to transparency, authentic relationships, and agent-driven product innovation – are the things that make HawkSoft who we are and continue to set us apart from the crowd in an increasingly competitive insurtech landscape.

A lasting culture for customers and employees
Ask any customer or employee and they’ll tell you that HawkSoft has a special culture that makes everyone feel appreciated, listened to, and cared for like family. It’s the reason HawkSoft has so many customers and employees that have been with us for over 10 years. In our 30 days for 30 years campaign on Facebook and other social media, we highlighted a few of these special people!

Customers
Allrisk Auto Insurance
The first customer to join HawkSoft, Allrisk Auto Insurance, signed the dotted line on October 19, 1995. Ever since then, they've been a member of our family.
Dawn and Stephanie serve the Southwest region of Washington state and pride themselves on being a local leader in auto insurance. Dawn opened the agency in 1984, and in 1995 her husband suggested the move to HawkSoft with the hope to allow her clients to feel welcome and trust that they were getting the best coverage at an affordable rate.

Zeigler Insurance
The team at Zeigler joined the HawkSoft family in 2017 and recently celebrated being in business for 20 years. They pride themselves on great service and giving back to the community. Both Beth and Dirk Ziegler have served on various committees in their community, and Dirk is a former president of the HawkSoft User Group board of directors. He also served our country for eight years in the United States Navy!

Cedar Risk Management
The Cedar Risk team, including Dick, Jarrett, and Malena, have been utilizing the HawkSoft platform since 2016 and pride themselves on providing proper insurance coverage for each insured's unique needs. Their agency has been around for 40-plus years, serving the Flemington, NJ community.
Malena also serves as the vice president of the HawkSoft User Group (HUG) and like us, is very passionate about our four-legged furry friends!

John Dawson Associates
Kelly Endicott has an extensive career in the industry, getting her start at John Dawson Associates as a customer service agent. Today, she is managing partner, and the agency has been using HawkSoft for 10 years.
Kelly has been a crucial member of the HawkSoft User Group over the years. She’s the current president of the HUG Board of Directors, and has served as a past national conference committee chair, as well as a member of various planning committees, and presented at both national and regional events. We are very thankful for Kelly's guidance on all things HUG.

Employees
Customers aren’t the only ones who have made HawkSoft what it is today—we’re also grateful for our wonderful employees, who contribute to our unique culture and make HawkSoft a wonderful place to work. We now have over 170 employees in 30 different states, with an impressive 39 employees who have been with us for 10 years or more (that’s over 20%)! In fact, 9 employees celebrated their 10th anniversary this year - see a few of them below!
